Scheduling meetings at HIMSS is like trying to put together a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle where 10% of the pieces change their shape each day. Every attendee is trying to maximize their time while minimizing the amount of wasted walking (Hint: wear comfortable shoes). Let’s get a couple of events on your calendar.
We would like to invite you to a few events that showcase Clinical Collaboration & Communication (CC&C) and will enable you to learn from a clinician who has deployed across the enterprise. These events feature Dr. Annabaker Garber, Vice President and Chief Nursing Informatics Officer with HCA (Hospital Corporation of America). Dr. Garber has taught me much about what a clinician really cares about during a hectic day in the hospital. Her insights are spot-on and are helping form our future product strategy.
Dr. Garber will be speaking February 21 at 10:15 a.m. at the 10th Annual Cisco Connected Health Summit at HIMSS17. Dr. Garber’s presentation, entitled “Cracking the Code on Secure Clinical Communications: How HCA Tackled One of Healthcare’s Most Common Challenges,” will follow HCA’s journey to select and implement a secure clinical communications solution and MH-CURE’s successful rollout and positive impact on throughput, clinician satisfaction and patient care.
You can also get her individual perspective as an MH-CURE user. Dr. Garber will be in the Mobile Heartbeat booth (#4895) on Tuesday, February 21 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. and will be happy to speak with fellow clinicians.
Make the most of your time in Orlando – see you at HIMSS!
